No more squirrels, plenty of birds.
Return customer, will likely be back. We had a squirrel problem with our feeder when we moved in to our new house. This was the first thing we tried and it worked almost immediately. No squirrel issues at all anymore. Still lots of birds. Easy fix.

No squirrels
This is more cost effective since the squirrels and raccoons take one taste and immediately leave the feeders. Now I will only be feeding birds and not thieving squirrels and raccoons. I did learn that after filling the feeders I should not touch my eyes. I guess I got some of the pepper on my hands, rubbed my left eye and it did burn. Washed my eye with cold water and my eye was fine. Iâm more careful now. Highly recommend for getting rid of squirrels and raccoons. The birds eat it no problems.

Birds love these.
Squirrel does not like these. I mix them with dried worms, and spray on a bit extra hot oil.So happy to see squirrel walk away from bird treats. Cardinals love this food.

Expensive but good
Squirrels will not eat these – the best thing I have sound so far, but really expensive.

Effective for birds only. Squirrels won’t get near it.
If squirrels are an issue, this is the answer. I keep it in an open feeder and only birds eat it.

Birds aren’t eating it
So I’m an avid bird watcher and I have 3 feeders in my yard all summer. I recently ordered coles sunflower hot meats to add to my mix. I separately buy peanuts and black oil sunflower seeds, as well as dried worms and mix all of that for each of my bird feeders.Yes my birds are bougie and they eat very well which is why I go through on average 5 lb a week of my mix.So my order arrived Thursday today is Sunday and I’ve yet to have to feed a feeder. It’s not that I had a squirrel problem I was just wanting to try it out in case this winter the Chipmunks would try. The reason I really don’t have a squirrel problem is because I use squirrel Buster feeders.Anyway it’s been extremely disappointing to see empty feeders now since Friday. It was my understanding that the birds could not taste the Cayenne but I don’t believe that’s true. It also means that the new mix of other seeds that arrived last Thursday totaling about $85 from Amazon is now ruined because I’m going to have to order all brand new seed and remix with what I know works.Terrible and expensive mistake.

No squjirrels but also many fewer birds!
I have definitely not seen a single squirrel since I filled my feeders with this product. However, the birds don’t seem to find it all that great! I see chickadees and sparrows and an occasional cardinal, but not nearly as many as came to my feeders when they were filled with “regular” bird food. I’m happy with the dearth of squirrels but not so much with the lack of bird customers.

Squirel proof
I was having a big problem with squirels eating all my seed and scaring the birds away. This seed is great! The birds like it and the squirels stay away.
