Heavy duty
What I wish was different:I wish it had a smaller door option. The only door is essentially one whole end of the cage. It would be nice if it had a door within that door. The food bowls are on doors that swing out. There’s a little tab that hangs down to keep that door from opening, and it swings freely. Since the cage is meant to be mobile/carried, that just makes me worry the door might swing open while the cage is being moved.I don’t like that there’s no additional support under the tray at the bottom. When you sit the cage on something softer like a car seat, it pushes the bottom tray up. It’s a minor annoyance. However, the cage seems pretty heavy duty. I initially bought this because I was supposed to be rescuing 3 cockatiels which would need to be transported from Davenport, IA to Denver, CO. I wanted a cage that would be secure, easy to move, and would not be the type where the bottom separates from the top because I didn’t want the transporter (or me) to be worried about the cage falling apart. This cage definitely fit the bill.I was also looking for a cage that would be sufficient for keeping the birds in for a few days and this would work for that.I removed the dowel perch and added a rope perch because I wanted there to be plenty of perch space for 3 birds and it seemed like the rope perch would be more comfortable on their feet for such a distance, and easier to hang on to.Now that I’ve seen the cage in person and used it, I think this will be an excellent cage for taking the birds to the vet or even for using if one of them gets sick and needs to be separated.

Nice cage
The bird cage is nice, I went to the bird vet and they told me itâs the nicest one they have seen. Cage is sturdy, a little heavy to tote around but doable. The only negative thing is the perch doesnât hold my birds I have an African Grey when he stood on it fell. The stick os too small the wedge part is too big for the cage. Or something like that

Nice cage but perch did not fit!
Nice portable – but perch was not long enough to fit.Cheap stick. Either sell without or sell with a nice one with the quality cage youâre selling.

The wooden bars are way to short for the cage.
The size was good. The construction was ok but when put together rather heavy to carry. Wooden bars are way to short for the cage.

Small perches
Definitely buy your own perches if you have a parrot and not a little bird. This is an emergency house for my Amazon parrot if we have to evacuate and the perches that come with it are WAY too small. Very well made and I recommend it otherwise!!

Perfect!
I got it just to take the birds outside, around the home up and downstairs, to the office. It is perfect for that and matches their current cage so it doesn’t scare them at all.

Incorrect Bar Spacing
The bar spacing is incorrectly listed in the description and also with an image as 0.55 inches. The actual spacing is larger at 0.7 inches. The perch is too short and is easily displaced from the bars. The cage is easy to assemble and seems sturdy.
