In-shell (raw) peanuts are very high in protein, unsaturated fatty acids, B-complex vitamins, particularly Niacin and Folic Acid. Peanuts have appreciable amounts of Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, and a favorable profile of all the essential amino acids.
