Excellent product, Real Parrot Feed
This feed is an actual Parrot Feed for large hook bills. My Orange wing Amazon finally has a food that he not only likes, but he eats nearly all of it unlike most feeds which he digs through and eats a small portion throwing the rest on the floor around the cage. He even seems to be in better spirits, much less vocal and wants to play more, get his head rubbed more and just generally better mood. Will definitely be buying more of this for him when this bag gets low. Recommended for any large, hook bill bird, mine stands about a foot tall and weighs in at 1.5 to 2 pounds.

Nutritional & Natural
The bird food is both nutritional and natural it is good for my birds to eat and smells good enough to eat. Very high quality product for the price. And the birds dont waste it like the other food I’d been giving them.

Great product – coming back for seconds!
I’ve been through several different brands and I’m satisfied saying that we’ve found the right one here! My parrot loves this, and so do I. When opening other seed blend bags, I am greeted by a somewhat musty scent. With the Higgins, it smells fresh and fruity – appetizing even for me. She digs around a bit and makes her way through the sunflower seeds and peppers first, but unlike other foods, she will actually eat most of what’s in the bowl. This is a great food for us, and hopefully for your bird as well. As I’ve said, we’re back for seconds now, and I’m sure we’ll stick with this for good.

Birds are happy!
Living in a small town has made it hard to find quality large parrot food in large quantities. The speed of getting the seed here (next day delivery is almost Impossible to my location) within two days is astounding. The seed is very clean, no dust cloud when pouring into a larger container and the bag is sturdy with a great built-in handle on the side of the bag, which when you are of the shorter variety, makes pouring so much easier. Contents are a nice variety of seed, with just enough peanuts. My birds thinks peanuts should be the only thing for dinner so I usually gather the peanuts and put in another container for a treat. As with most family pet members, this bunch eats very well getting fresh and dried fruits and veggies, with seed as a supplement. For me, the price of the seed and shipping are reasonable versus driving about 64 miles round trip just to get a couple of eight pound bags. We are on the second bag of this type and I intend to continue purchasing it, and will probably purchase other pet products from this quick responding Wag.com

Although it is a little pricey the bird loves it and the ingredients appear to be fresh without a whole lot of filler junk. I put 5 stars for flavor, but I am taking the birds “ooooooh” when I fill his bowl as – this is good. I have not tried it myself. LOL

Quick Shipping
Bag contained mostly sunflower seeds. Seeds were all fresh without any dust or bugs. Not recommended for macaws as it contains a lot of small seeds, the largest thing in the whole bag was the few peanuts in shell and banana chips. My greenwing did not like it and used his beak to side push them all out of his dish and directly onto the bottom of his cage. My conures did eat some of it but they wasted a lot. Will order a different product next time.
