Seems great, scared to use
I’m rating 5 stars because it’s exactly what I ordered, seems to be good quality, and arrived quickly. Unfortunately, I’m terrified of trying to trim my Bourke Parakeet’s beak. Luckily, he’s FINALLY started using some of the treat blocks i got him to help grind his beak because it was too long and he wouldn’t use cuttle bone. It’s nice to have on hand, though, just in case, and it seems easy enough to use and seems safe for small birds.

Bird Approved!
This thing is great! I love that it has guards on it so that you can keep the beak in one place while you use it. It was very easy to use and worked great for my cockatiel who doesn’t like to upkeep his own beak. He’s usually fiesty when I take him out (he does not like coming out of his cage and usually just bites me) but he seemed to calm down when I turned the drill on. He did bite the drill a little but once it touched his beak he just sort of stopped, haha. He did start to grip it in his beak at one point, but the drill just stopped moving which was great!! I thought he had gotten hung on it or something so I turned it off to get him free, but no, he was just clenched onto it for some reason. He hasn’t been messing with his beak since I put him back in his cage, even though usually he throws a little fit when I trim his beak because I only had nail clippers (I know that’s bad, that’s why I bought this!) and it made his beak sharp. This device made his beak smooth still, so he didn’t have to rush to smooth it out himself. He also doesn’t seem angry at all that I did it, which is also different, because he’s usually full of anger after I get him out for any reason. Happy bird loves this drill!

Works great!
I have used monthly for my parakeet beak and claws. My pet tolerates it well with no screaming or struggle.

Disappointed
In the picture it shows that it comes with nail trimmer clippers but it didn’t. The Dremel itself doesn’t have a lot of strength so I had to spend a lot more time trying to use it on my bird’s feet. It did not work well. It’s a really cute Dremel but there’s just not enough power to get it done quickly when you have birds. So I had to redo it over and over and I finally just gave up because it just was not working well.

Great product!
This is a great product, I can trim my little birds nails without hurting them, and little trauma by not using the scissors.

Seems great however the light is on the wrong side so itâs quite useless as I bought it specifically for the light to shine on the nail .
