Nice mix, but for the price could have more meal worms
My chickens liked this scratch and came running when I thew it into the yard. And no they don’t always come, if its poor quality scratch they might shuffle over and pick a bit, but then they’ll lose interest and go about looking for other bugs or food in the yard. This keeps them interested and pecking till its gone. The quality looks good, though there could be more meal worms or other types of bug protein, especially for the price.Overall I am happy with it and would recommend it. Though I would also pick up an extra bag of bot fly or meal worms to add in.

Great chicken feed
Great chicken feed. No nasty smell, nice appearance. Easy to eat for my chickens. Healthy and okay size. I have many chickens but this is good for about 4 in one go. The value is high for the small amount but worth it with it being nice and healthy.

Brings all the hens to the yard
The chickens already run when they see a big bag, but this mix really makes them happy. I don’t know what the difference is or what magical thing is in here, but since I opened this, they will literally fight each other to get it! I throw out a few handfuls every morning so I can get to their water without them underfoot and they just go buck wild. I haven’t seen any ill effects, so I am happy.

Our Chickens Love it!
We are recent (beginner) owners of three chickens in our household. We used to feed them feed pellets for the first 12 weeks. We have recently let them roam around our backyard, and we noticed that they have lost interest in the pellets. After trying this chicken feed, we noticed that they have much more interest in eating the feed again, although, they still like to forage around our backyard. I like that the feed is very diverse with grains and meal worms, which is probably why it’s much more appealing than simple pellets. I’m hoping this will help contribute to better health and eggs in the future. I’m confident this will last me a few months. Very satisfied!

Good scratch for use as a supplement to laying mix.
My chickens love this mix, and Iâve noticed their feathers looking shinier and their egg production staying strong since I started using it. The blend of grains, meal worms, and cod oil keeps them active when they scratch around, and it feels like a nice upgrade from plain scratch. Itâs more of a treat than a complete feed, but paired with their regular layer feed, itâs been a great addition to their diet.

Pricey, but good
This is a bit pricey, right off the bat. But my boys loved it as a little treat. It’s a decent sized bag, has a great mix of seeds, grain, and dried insects. My silkie loved it and would come running for his snack every time I called.
