picky birdies chose roudy from many options
I searched for a good quality pellet to change over my birds (2 cockatiels 3 parakeets) previous seed only diet. I tried several brands. This was the only brand that they eat. Others got picked at and pushed around but they screamed clearly not something they were willing to eat. Theyâve eaten roudy for at least 2 years now and still eat the bowl clean with only a little dust left behind so my picky buggers chose this brand themselves. I have very happy, healthy babies so Iâm sticking with it.

I have small birds? I was buying the mini pellets? But the crumbles are so much easier for them to eat! Now they enjoy eating them, I’m throwing very little away! Perfect!

I have three budgies and they all love these pellets
I have three budgies and they all love these pellets! Previously they were on seed, I buy Dr. Harvey’s best parakeet seed, which is organic and high quality but eating seed all the time is still unhealthy. I attempted to switch them over to pellets and got them eating zupreem fruitblend pellets with have a lot of artificial coloring agents. Switched to Roudybush and wow! what a difference! Birds are much calmer, less hormonal (they don’t bite anymore), their feathers and beaks are shiny and clean.I started feeding them these because the breeder I got one of the birds from recommended it highly. We started with the crumble size but it was too big and caused a lot of wastage (this is probably more suited to a cockatiel or parrotlet). The breeder said they preferred Mini size, but mini is shaped like a tiny stick, so when they bite down, the rest of the food that’s not in their mouth goes flying off into the floor. Again, so much wasted food (mini size is probably good for conures). I ended up pounding the rest of my 2lb bag of Mini sized pellets so it would be a smaller size… Lo and behold! the nibles size! Just right, like baby bear’s porridge! They love it and can’t get enough of it.

Great for Estrildid Finches
Iâve used this product before. My canaries did not care for it; they preferred another brand of pellets. However, my estrildid finches such as my Gouldians, zebras, owl, and shaft tail finches all took an instant liking to Roudybush pellets. I highly recommend this product to keepers of estrildid finches. It has balanced nutrition and keeps birds in good health.

Great food, shipped quickly
Ordered this for my budgies since my local PetSmart was out of Roudybush, came the next day. Plus it’s so much cheaper to buy the ten pound bag. Food is good and my budgies are very happy.

ive been buying the bigger ones “minis” and my budgies always turn it into a powder with their beaks since its too big for them to eat. this size is great for them, its my first time buying it and ill continue to do so
