Benefits of Foot Toys
Foot toys are small toys that birds can easily pick up with their feet and chew with their beak. They come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and textures that offer a range of enrichment benefits, including chewing, foraging, preening, and mechanical manipulation. Foot toys promote chewing activity essential to beak health, foraging opportunities, and exercise. They also provide essential feet and beak exercise that helps to improve muscle strength, balance, coordination, and foot dexterity.
Playthings with a Purpose
Play is a natural behavior for parrots, and in the wild, they engage in various types of play, including object play, balancing games, play that involves movement, acoustic play, and social play. However, in captivity, opportunities for natural activities are limited, leading to boredom and potential behavioral, mental, and physical health problems. Providing enrichment in the form of purposely designed bird toys can alleviate boredom and promote physical activity, curiosity, and mental engagement.

Cindy –
Supreme fun for an old double-yellow headed parrot who loves bells and jingly noises!!!
Parrot (yes, his name is Parrot…long story) loves bells and jingly noises. He loves to use his feet to jingle the balls in these toys while oohing and aahing! You can see the one where he decided to remove the jingle and set it to the side to play with later. Although these don’t last long – sometimes a couple weeks, sometimes a couple days – his utter enjoyment with them is immeasurable! And for a 47-year-old parrot, I say Parrot gets what Parrot wants! We are on our second order of four:-)

Great foot toys!
These are inexpensive and wonderful foot toys for our conures! They love them. They knock them off the top level and go and bring them back.. itâs cute to watch. They can destroy them though.. lucky they are not costly!

Decent
Not bad for the price, but one of the four balls arrived without a bell inside.

2 stars. They are round and they roll.
The balls themselves I guess are good. However the bells inside the balls scared my bird. I have a cockatiel and the first time he attempted to push one of these around he flew into the air and would not go near them again. It’s sad with products like these, much like the bird ladders I purchased on Amazon. The cost is fair, compared to groceries these days. But it is more trouble then it ‘s worth to return them. I really detest that.

Our green cheek conure loves these balls, and I like them because they are far more long-lasting than the lattice ones. He plays with them a lot and of course the rattle bell is a bonus. I would like to find more small foot and rattle toys like this.
Tamika –
The bell is very loud but the ball itself is sturdy

Excellent toy ! My budgie just looooves to push them around and throw them on the ground. They’re quite durable but my budgie broke the bell inside when she threw it down the stairs.

Don’t know if my boy loves these or hates them, but he does throw them around a whole bunch. He likes to drop them from the top of his cage to the bottom. Over and over and over. They are very durable. Bought two sets. Will use the second set for when he’s out of the cage.

Whilst Mojo absolutely loved playing with these balls, he chewed through the plastic after just a couple of days. Had to remove them from him so as to not swallow any small pieces. Definitely not suitable for even small parrots.
