Great quality seed mix my cockatiels love it butâ¦
I switched to Higgins Vita Seed for my cockatiels and they really enjoy it. The mix looks fresh, has good variety, and I like that it includes added vitamins and minerals. My cockatiels eat it really well with very little waste, and their feathers and energy look great. The only downside is that it has a lot of black seeds. My birds love them, but theyâre a bit fatty, so I usually mix in pellets and fresh veggies to balance their diet. For the price, itâs great value for the money you get a fresh, high-quality mix that birds actually eat and enjoy. Overall, itâs a solid choice and my cockatiels definitely approve. Iâll keep buying it!

Great Product
Great Product. Have Mixed my Own seed for close to 50 years. Many items not available locally anymore in bulk. So I buy different components and mix together and store in seal tight containers. That way I can control what I feed by Cockatiels and Parakeets all in one very large handmade cage.

It smells really good and the birds love it
The first thing I noticed when I opened it, was how good it smells. I believe there is some dried fruit in it. I have lovebirds and a cockatiel. They all seem to really like it. The minute I put some in their food dishes, they were eating it up. I will buy this again

Moths.
The price was good but we ended up with a really bad moth infestation and they loved the raisin like things in this seed mix. The usual ones we get donât have them. We have little moth maggots all over and Iâm still getting rid of them even after I threw out this giant bag of seed. They eventually got everywhere in my house, even in our rice and cereal boxes in our pantry. We wonât be ordering this again just due to that issue.

Quality of item with pricing
Not a bad product outside of just to much sunflower seeds need more diversity on seed, pellet, and dry grade food less sunflower seed these are seeds most commonly eaten over the other seed and common cause of fatty liver disease should be used as a treat only two or three times a week and only a couple when given. Food is always fresh and pleasant orange type smell.
