Files nails and beak.
My parrotâs claws and beak were getting long, and I didnât know if she was old enough to trim them, so I tried putting this perch between her water and food. It works extremely well!

This Is Not The Same Perch!!
My parakeets were very happy with the lite porous looking perches I received several months ago (exactly like the photo), so I re-ordered two more. A completely different perch was sent! The ones I just received were made of CHALK, heavy and crumbling and nothing like the original. Why would Hypeety continue to advertise the same perch but send a piece of garbage?

Update: they love it
I received a random color- I got yellow so not the worst I couldve gotten. It took my budgies 3 days before they would even go near it but they finally did and they seem to like it fine. They tested it out but don’t seem super interested in it yet but that may happen over time.Update: it’s been in my budgies cage for weeks now and they love it. They’re using it exactly as intended (chewing and biting it, and their nails rub against it) . I made sure one of the toys they liked was set up there so they started using it to get to that toy and became used to it after about a week

Great addition to the cage very good quality and helps with the beak trimming .
