Perfect hospital cage, or carry cage for gliders or birds
Small bar spacing is perfect. They are made with a spring closure for holding the food cups. The cups are 2 piece. When you put them together, the slant on the top goes under the spring closure, and the porch side is placed in the cage. There are little plastic grabs on the bottom to stop them from sliding from the bottom. Once in properly they are secure. The animals can’t open the door, and they can’t push them out because it’s spring loaded and pushing/holding the cup in place. There are 2 cups. And a swing. The perch is very small, attached from the outside by a screw. It’s perfect for the cage if you use it for a small bird. Parakeet to conure. I’m using it for Gliders, for now. I have 2 of these. They are good for 2 gliders short term, or more if just for transport. I have a hammock and a small hanging pocket pouch in one, and a zip pouch on the floor and hanging “pocket pouch” in the other. The bottom TRAYS, there are 2. Both come out the front, on either side. The rack that covers the bottom is plastic. Put together correctly, and you will assemble it, it is a study little cage. Plastic top, wire around the middle, plastic parts and bottom. Put your rack in while the top is off, because the because it won’t go in after. If you drop it out will fly apart. Otherwise it’s probably the best built little cage I’ve ever seen. They can’t get out of it if the trays are “snapped* in place and the floor rack is in place above them. Having the rack makes it easy to change and wash the trays and they stay in the cage. Good price to value. Size wise: you can carry a medium bunny, hamster (multiple), Guinea pig, Glider, chinchillas (1-2). Connie, Cockatiel(s), African Gray, or Quaker parrot size … 1, or 2 of they get along. Those sizes are for transport to vet. For a living it sleeping cage, small bird, hamster or glider x1, x2 if they’re bonded. You can see in the pictures what I’m referring to about the cups and the trap door that holds them in, and the split rack trays at the bottom. There is no room for a water bottle inside. Use a small outside mounted one. I found the perfect ones for 5.99 at PetSmart. The same ones for the same price on Amazon. Do not but the small ones that sit in a blue metal holder that encases the most of the small bottle. They leak, bar none…. All of them. You know the saying about doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results? Well, I liked the “look” of those, and they seemed steady. Doesn’t matter, they leak. Make a horrible mess. Ha nothing to do with the cage, but I’m hoping the warning helps.

I bought this little cage so I could tame my little parakeet. It seemed when sheâs in her big cage she has no desire to come out. With the small cage I find sheâs much more receptive to training, so fingers crossed!

This is a cheap, flimsy, almost disposable cage. The food/water dishes are so thin and flimsy you almost break them trying to open. You get what you pay for (sarcasm intended). I would highly recommend spending more for a better cage.

OMG!!! This little cage is better than expected. My little birb can come hang outside or this can also be used as a travel cage. Very happy with this and it was also a little bigger than I expected.
