Great for chickens
These are excellent for giving water to my chickens. I tend to use water bottles to attach to them. The only time that I had a problem was when I tried to attach a 2 liter Sprite bottle (filled with water). For some reason the curves in the bottle affected the gravity that this device uses to provide water and they emptied really fast. When I discovered the problem, I switched to a âsmart waterâ bottle that was not curved with no problems.

These are a nice advancement from the ones on the market that are designed for a glass soda bottle. Any plastic water or soda bottle screws right on . Mounting will vary depending on the structure you are securing through. In my case, I just cut a little hole in the area I wanted the waterer, secured it with a spring. I am happy with them.

Doesnât fit in cage
This wouldâve been a good idea if you were able to detached the inside and outside and snap it in somehow. But as itâs made right now itâs way too big to fit in any of the cages that I have. I donât know if I can bend the bars on the cages?

Does not seal well.
The threads are not all the same and some leak around the screw in point. The little pop on covers donât hold well either. Good idea but needs some refinement to the end product.

secure to the cage and unable to knock over
I like that I can put theses drink cups in the quarantine cage. When my chicken needs a time out to stop being broody. The chicken always knocks over her water when she is in this cage. With these drinking cups she cannot do that as they are secure to the cage.
