It is a very good bird bath
This is a very good bird bath. It is easy to clean and refill. My canary is a little slob but even he can’t send the water out if this thing. It holds the water very well and nothing spills out of it. I would have given it five stars but the only thing I don’t like is that it is smoke gray tinted and the tint is dark. Makes it difficult to see the bird when he is in it. Watching them splash around in the water can be fun and the dark tint takes that fun away.

I have two of these on my cage. I put the seed in there and it keeps the mess to a minimum. From a design standpoint, the curved shape is attractive, but there’s a little bit of a gap where the unit meets the cage on either side. My birds are very small, so in order to prevent the possibility of one of them trying to fit through the space, I have added a piece of aluminum wire there on both sides of each unit. It is also possible for the unit to get pushed from the bottom so as to create an opening that might allow for escape. I have used 10 inch bungee cords to secure the bottom part of the units to the cage. I have to undo those every morning when I clean things and add seed. But it’s really not a problem. I do agree with the person who said that the gray color is not a great feature. It is difficult to see the birds when they are in the units. And in the beginning, the birds didn’t want to go in there because it was darker. No trouble going into a clear unit. They figured it out though, and the design is worth it. It is very easy to pull out the trays and clean these and refill them without going in the cage. I like that very much. Good product.

Easiest to Clean!!
Finally, a bird bath for my small parrot that’s easy to clean and change daily. Why all the others are so difficult and poorly made, are beyond me. The bottom slides out, no hooks or screws to fool with, washes in a minute. No leaks, fits outside the cage well. I’m ordering more. Brilliant design and my conure loves it.

This is the third time I bought a bird bath for my budgies. Guess 3rd time is the charm as this one is “just right”. It is by far the easiest one to clean!!! The other two had to be completely unscrewed from the cage and took a considerable amount to take apart just to put in fresh water, let alone a thorough cleaning. The design is a genius one. Flip up the solid plastic strap on outside of cage, slide out bath compartment. Take it to sink, clean, fill, slide back in and put solid plastic “strap” back down. And, you can clean the whole contraption while still attached when the removable tray is out. I use a damp paper towel with diluted vinegar, reach into cage, get to bath opening and wipe clean. Get dry paper towel, as I hate water marks, lol, and dry. Then I do same outside of cage to the bathtub’s outer part. Once a month I will undo the whole contraption, soak it all in warm water with diluted vinegar, rinse, put back together in cage. Believe me this is worth the total ease of use if you want one that fits into an opening for the cage. When my brats take a bath the majority of the water stays in the enclosed tub. Awesome 👌! UPDATE: In use for two weeks…only removed the bottom bath draw to clean, change water, gently wiped clean inside and outside whole unit without removing from cage. The rounded top part developed a long hairline fracture. When I went to remove the screw attached to the cage, the plastic attachment around screw broke off on both sides. I treated this bird bath with kid gloves as my budgies loved it and it’s so darn easy to remove just a drawer to clean and refill. I loved it…best design ever. Wish is was made with sturdier plastic. Heartbroken I have to go back to using a difficult bird bath in terms of removal of whole tub from cage. Which means fooling around with screws, nuts and bolt operation. All because I want their bath outside to avoid being pooped on from above and complete water bathing mess. Very sad.

Took about a week for my birds to use it. They don’t use it much, but it does fit the door well and easy to refill.

This product is not durable! Parts broke off the first time I began to remove the basin. It cracked when I tried to attach it to the cage. Plastic is not strong enough for what is required. I got a refund approved immediately, which I appreciate.
