Installation
To install the bird warmer, simply follow these steps:
- Rotate the nut counter clockwise and remove the nut and gasket from the bird warmer
- Fix the Bird Warmer on your bird’s favorite perch and place the warmer metal plate against the inside of the cage

I recommend it to all parrot owners who have cool houses.
My budgie absolutely loves this thing! It doesn’t get too hot, just enough for him to snuggle up to it and stay warm. We leave it on all night, and he literally never leaves it. I recommend it to any parrot owner who has a cool home.

Great Product
I didn’t even know that warmers for birdcages existed – until I needed one. This one is easy to install, and it is easily wiped off if needed. The power cord is reinforced, but I still made extra sure that it is out of the reach of my little destruction-crew’s beaks . . . they will shred anything within reach. I have a flight-cage for my parakeets, and the bar spacing is about 1/2 inch; I was able to feed the cord through, but it won’t fit anything smaller than that. The warmer does not get very hot, it’s just warm enough to take the chill off, which is a plus. My parakeets can snuggle up against it if it gets unexpectedly cold at night, but the warmer does not give off so much heat that they can’t escape it.

Compact, soft, ambient warmth
My African Grey does not like anything new, yet he had no crazy reaction to this “new thing” in his space. The first day after I installed it he was one perch away from it when I uncovered him which is a very positive response from this 33 yr old parrot. I gave him 3 differently positioned perches so he has control over how much warmth he wants to feel. He also is very destructive sometimes with “new things” and he has not tried to destroy the heater either. The unit itself took me 3 minutes to install and did not give off any odor whatsoever. Compact and durable. It was less expensive than the most popular brand as well. Highly recommend.

Keeps my love birds warm
The heater does its work. Keeps the area around the perch on the side of the cage warm. We’ve had a few cool nights here in Florida and the heater has helped. I wish perhaps that it could get a bit more hot so that the heat would radiate a bit more spread out since the warmth would only be felt once the bird gets close enough to it. Overall it works. But you may need multiple ones to place around the cage, depending on size and amount of birds.Easy to install and it arrived quick.

Electrical issues
Worked for 3 days perfectly then died. It would power on but power off within a few minutes. Now it wonât turn on at all. It has serious electrical issues. My bird is disabled and doesnât chew. Itâs just crappy built and doesnât seem safe with electrical issues.

Seems like a great product but thereâs no way it fits and 90% of small bird cages.
I had this plugged in on the counter for a full day before I put it near the bird to make sure there was no off-gasing, the minimal smell it had dissipated within a half-day. When I went to go put it in the cage, I realized the cord is way too thick to fit between the bars of a small birdâs cage. The diameter is a bit larger at parts than indicated in the product description. It will have to go back.

Just what I needed
Okay this is a snuggle heater meaning your feather friend has to literally hug it don’t expect it to be a lamp like the lizard, turtle ones, however it does heat up enough to keep them warm if you don’t live in a very cold area

This heater is excellent! It has an adjustable temperature control and a simple light indicator that clearly shows whether itâs on or off. Itâs very easy to attach to the cage and move around as needed. It works perfectly the only âproblemâ is that I canât convince my budgie to sit next to it, but I guess sheâs just not cold yet!
