Convenient sheets of news-print like paper, safe for birds, sized for popular sized flight cages.
Ink-free paper that is much like newsprint paper but smooth and maybe ‘a bit’ thicker. Lightly folded (book-ended, if you know what that is) with plastic clips to keep the paper secure, while storing.2 pieces of this paper fit the bottom of my 30 x 21 flight cage. I only have a single bird at this time, so I change the paper every other day. It is stated to be free of harmful chemicals. (Bird buddy coming home next week.)The paper not being shipped rolled up, is super convenient for me. The size is just right for my cage. No more cutting. There are 120 sheets in a pack. Doing the math that’s approximately 60 cage changes for me, which will last 4 months. So, $21.00 every 4 months. Thats not bad. The price = 37 cents per cage change (2 sheets.)Currently, I use brown paper or paper towels. The brown paper is free shopping bags, but I have to take time to cut them. The paper towels are the cheapest kind at $1/roll. I don’t mind using them, but they tend to move around a lot when my bird forages on the bottom of the cage. For cleaning, The sheets bunch/fold up easily when removing from the cage. The paper does leak through, much like newsprint, if you’re only using a single layer. That’s what I do. But, I always wash the cage bottom before relining with paper. The best thing about this paper is how it is shipped, virtually flat. The size is convenient, as it matches to the size of my bird’s cage. That means: NO CUTTING.

Newsprint liners
These cage liners are basically newsprint paper. They’re thin paper sheets & will absorb water spills like any other paper.I’ve been using large pads of artists newsprint in my large parakeet cage for years, so finding a loose stack of paper was great. Two sheets fit as liners for my bird cage. If you have a smaller cage, just fold a sheet to fit. For cleaning, easily roll it up, fold up the edges to contain scattered seeds, & dispose. It’s absorbent enough for small bird droppings & there’s nothing harmful to birds that I can see.I especially appreciate the included plastic clips so you can roll up the paper, clip, and easily store it away. Price was good compared to pads of newsprint at my local art store. The paper also works well as little kid artsy paper or for protecting tabletops for adult crafty projects.

I used this paper in my birdcages this morning.
The texture of this paper feels thicker than the paper I’ve been using. I have 2 flight cages, so I used 4 sheets of paper to cover the bottom of each one. There is kraft paper beneath that to better absorb the droppings. I have a conure and 2 parakeets and all of them chew paper. I feel good about using this paper because it’s clean and has no ink on it. If they eat some of it, I don’t have to worry. The white color makes it easy to see whatever the bird drops, including their excrement. Since the sheets are precut, it is convenient when I’m cleaning cages. Good product.

Absorbent enough for my lone lovebird
This paper works as well as can be expected, it’s absorbent enough to get the job done – at least with my one little lovebird. The paper feels just slightly thicker than my local newspaper. The paper comes with two plastic clips to keep the pack folded up. This is handy, but I don’t think I’ll keep the pack folded as it retains some of the curl in the paper.

Durable, easy to reshape, keeps cages clean.
LIKES: durable for daily bird droppings, easy to fold and tear to fit smaller cages, easy to clean (collect and throw away). DISLIKES: none to report. HOW USING: These go at the bottom of our two parakeet cages each day. RECOMMENDATION: Yes. These are durable, easy to reshape, and keep the cage bottoms clean between weekly cleanings. They are a good price for the supply.
