Great Parakeet or Canary breeding cages for the price
These cages will work great in your breeding room for canaries or parakeets. Great price!

My birds love them.
Like that itâs easy to assemble and great price.

Perfect breeding cages BUT how about the option to order individual cages.
Easy to assemble. The cages are spacious. You can put about 6 gouldian finches inside without crowding them. But if youâre going to breed them then it would be perfect for just a pair. I wanted to order just 2 more but there is no option to be able to order less than 4 breeding cages.

Inexpensive cage bird solution
There is not any over building or over engineering going on here. This assembles sufficiently tightly that for the intended species, small cage birds, you should not need any zip ties. These are not built for chickens, quail, or pigeons, though for the smallest bantams, small inactive pigeons, or small numbers of coturnix / button (king) quail you might get away with it. The cage are poorly suited to this purpose though. If you’re keeping finches, canaries, maybe parakeets or (maybe??) cockatiels, you’ll be happy with these. They assemble correctly in *exactly* one manner, and the provided instructions are completely useless to discover this. If you think you need zip ties, odds are you’ve put the side panels on backwards. This is *really* easy to do, and significantly compromises the integrity of the cage.I’m giving it 5 stars because it does what it claims, and is done efficiently and with the bare minimal material quality to keep the price really low.Yes, the metal bars bend easily with your fingers. And yes you’ll likely need to straighten a few. If the feed dishes skip easily into the cages rather than stick nicely in the opening, you probably need to straighten a bar on one side or the other of the dish. But if they used a heavier gage wire, they’d charge you more. You’re getting what you’re paying for, and you’re not getting more than that.EDIT Sept 1, 2024. I’ve been using these since I got them and I’ve got to reduce the score by a star (from 5 to 4). The are passable for a handful of coturnix. Society finches with sufficient motivation can move between the two compartments of the cage even when assembled prefecture correctly (this happened twice). Also with sufficient motivation a society finch can squeeze out of the cage entirely. This happened *once* and I was able to recover the bird because the room was closed off preventing escape.I still feel they’re worth 4 stars, because for the price and what they accomplish, they’re pretty good. If you have to have something inescapable then build your own, pay a lot more, or break out the zipties that other reviewers recommend.

inexpensive breeding cages work. but quality is lacking.
The cages are well designed. and they work well for breeding gouldians. unfortunately 2 of the side panels for one of the cages came with broken clips. a little more quality control and slightly better packaging would have fixed the issues.
