Have Cage can Travel
Needed a cage that would allow my Sun Conure to enjoy travel times, such that he can see out and is open enough so that he can be playful during the drive. Since he can fly, it needs room for a little stretching time. It has easy change out feed and water cups with partial covers to reduce the Bird from shoveling out the food when frustrated. The assembly was straight forward and it only took me 15 minutes to go from box to bird inside to try it out. Plenty of room, 3 access points and a pullout tray so without opening the cage, I can pull out the dirty tray, change paper or wash it out and put it back clean and ready to use. Simple wire handle and it has weight enough to give the feeling it will hold up the travel and movement and the Bird during a long drive.

Very handy for travel
Assembly wasn’t easy. The cage is nice for my finches to travel with me on occassion.I wouldn’t open the large door when birds or finches are in it.It might be ok to open it if you have a parrot or other type.Hard to close that big door and it makes a loud sound scary for birds I’m sure. There are 2-small side doors for filling seed and water cups. Use them! It’s a well-made and travel efficient cage.

Bottom wire on one wide above side.
This product is designed for the wires to snap in. The problem is that the snap is in the center on the top and it’s only big enough for one wire. When you put the cage together, one side is lower because of this so when you attach it to the base, the bottom of one side wire is lower than the other. The lower side fits into the base like its supposed to but the other side actually sits almost even with the top of the base on that side. Each side has 26 wires. To compensate for how the cage is designed to be built, one side needs to have 27 wires so that both side snap in to the base. A determined bird could definitely push the bottom wires out and get stuck between the bottom wire and the base. The cage is not easy to put together so I was pretty annoyed when I got it all done and realized the design flaw. I wish I had taken a picture before I took it apart. It’s a shame because I love the cage, I just don’t want my bird to get her head caught and die. The designer should make adjustments. I’d consider purchasing it again if an extra wire is added to the side without the door, as that’s the second side you attach.

Awesome travel cage! First Order was great, second I ordered was Not as good
Update* 10/24/22 Second Cage ordered. (green) They changed the handle from metal to a cheap plastic that you snap in. It does not feel sturdy and slides back and forth. I do not like that at all. One side door one of the hinges came broken. I am going to keep the cage but will have to try and find a safe super glue to try and fix it or the door will be unusable. It seems they are now cutting corners on design/materials.I still love the cage but am disappointed with this one. I use them a lot and do not feel confident carrying this one around like I do the first one.————–I needed a better sleeping cage for my Budgie that had a big enough door. The previous cage from the pet store had a tiny guillotine door and was super hard to transfer. He likes to sleep with us in our bedroom. So we move him every night and morning. This cage was easy to put together with a little patience and finesse. It feels secure and well made. I feel confident that I could use it as a transport cage as well. It is not heavy, but the materials feel solid.I love that it has food cups and a slide out trayI am going to order another one for my baby Linnie that I have coming.

Super hard to assemble
This cage was super hard to put together. It took me 30 min to get it assembled. I almost returned it because I couldn’t get it assembled. I had to apply A LOT of strength to get the wire sections into the plastic sides. It was very hard to get the wire into the plastic. In order to get this cage put together, you need to be tough and have strength AND patience. I ended up scratching some of the clear plastic while assembling. I don’t like how the top of the wires come together on the cage. I think the design is good, but there needs to be an easier way to put this cage together. One door knob lock was not assembled on the door and was loose in the bag. I at first thought that the knob was not included, but it was. The cage is decent size for taking a parakeet to the vet which is what I got it for as well as trips to boarding.

Love it butâ¦..
I love it! Perfect for my Pacific Parrotlet Bamm Bamm when we go out. This gives him more room then his other one did. Actually bigger then I thought it would be. I bought the muted green which I like.CONS: Best Pet needs to update pictures. The picture shows a metal handle. A bit deceiving. This one is plastic. Just like the buyer said. Like the other buyer I donât feel confident in the handle. I am thinking of doing some diy with zip ties to secure it more.CONS: I believe I received one that was returned and restocked. The reason is that one of the plastic sides was scratched. I had already attached one side when I noticed. I have been excited to get this so itâs not going back. I might reach out to Best Pet and maybe they will send me another side.

Comfortable bird carrier.
Perfect size for those trips to the vet! Although my hubby said a little difficult to put together. Appears pretty solid.
