Effective, but very dependent on if the bird will cooperate.
These are useful for when you want to let a bird roam around the house. But many birds are gonna hate it by default. I recommend putting it on them for 30 minutes a day for a couple weeks, and see if they will acclimate to it. Sometimes they will take to it once they associate it with the freedom of being able to roam free. The diaper itself works great at containing mess until you can remove it and hand wash it.Now, the leash… I am far more skeptical of the leash. I just don’t think it’s a safe thing to put on a bird. I would never leash any sort of flying or gliding animal. They could get seriously hurt if things get tangled up the wrong way, and birds tend to panic when they get entangled.I do appreciate that you get two bird diapers for the price, so that you can always have a clean one if one is dirty.
