Perfect Toy for a Conure
My green cheek conure loves these, unfortunantly they last only a few weeks, but she loves them. I usually tie them together by the laces and hook a carabiner on them and she goes crazy for them.

African Grey likes them. Interesting concept, and for some reason, it just works. Good price. Worth a shot. Don’t last that long, but no toys usually do (you know this if reading this, probably). Good quality. Have bought many times, and will continue to do so.

shoelaces fray and might be digested
If you’re concerned about anything your bird might digest, the thread on the shoelaces frays easily when poked repeatedly. Replacing the shoelaces with ones that won’t fray or won’t fray easily would be a good idea if you’re concerned like I am. The threading on the shoe itself frays somewhat (by itself; one came frayed), not too much, at the top near the ankles because there is no rubber or anything to hold it or separate it from the rest of the shoe, like there is on human shoes. There are no grommets on the lace inserts -that’s a good thing. I can’t speak of the dye or the rubber -if it’s safe. They look and feel like real shoes: thick rubber soles, soft canvas, nice soft laces. Four different colors. Super lightweight. The cloth that lies under the laces is short; it will not rise but a few millimeters above the laces. The inside is soft and not the same fabric as the outside of the shoe. There is white stitching along the sides of the outside of the shoe.

Updated!! It’s still perfect!
Update: this is my 2nd time buying thaws cause my green cheek and sun conure love them so much that they chewed all four to pieces! Great price for things they can safely destroy. I just got these today and this is what one shoe looks like after 2 hrs with them.I have a sun conure that’s 2 years old and a green cheek that is 5 months old, both females, the sun conure loves to destroy anything she can get her beak on and the baby wants to bite on anything she can get ahold of, she’s just like a puppy, sharp beak and no mercy. So to save our fingers I found this. It’s perfect for what I was looking for, now my sun conure does tear the bottom in pieces and the more progress she makes she gets excited and stays on it. But the little one loves it too, she’s not as destructive right now so she will sit there and nibble on the whole thing for a very long time. I also love that it came with 4, ones on the baby’s cage 2 is by the couch where we sit most and 1 for back up wherever. I wasn’t expecting these to hold up against my sun conure, she will prove u wrong Everytime u think she can’t destroy something. So for us it was a good buy for our purposes.

My Amazon parrot loves these. She does demolish them very quickly, so I donât give them to her all the time due to the cost, but they make a special toy treat every so often. She does have a very strong beak, so the quick destruction is to be expected.

Cutest little toy ever
I bought this for our 7 month old Caique but decided to let our pineapple conures and cockatiels have one as well. The baby tiels are 2 months old and they love them! Theyâre a bit too heavy for them to lift but they push the shoe around and love to chew on the end of the shoelaces haha. The shoe is pretty much a realistic smaller shoe. Pineapples donât pay much attention to them but the cockatiels and Caique love them
