Importance of Foraging Toys
Foraging behavior is a natural instinct that birds still have from their wild past. Providing toys and treats that engage the mind and allow opportunities to "hunt" for food is essential for keeping pet birds happy and entertained. Mentally and physically engaged birds are less likely to experience cage boredom and the associated negative behaviors, including screaming and feather picking. Regular interaction with your bird, through play and rotation of toys, is crucial for their mental growth and happiness.

High quality toy, great value for the $, medium size is perfect for medium-size parrots
Love this toy. I have a Blue-Headed Pionus Parrot, basically a medium-sized parrot a little bigger than an average conure. He can be very hot or cold on toys, thereâs no telling. This one I attached to his cage door which is open all day long; he is free to roam on top and all around several rope perches we have around his cage and he has a wide variety of chew toys to choose from. Heâs a rescue parrot and I have tried all kind of different chew toys over the years. He really likes this one, started nibbling at it right away and then chewing into it more deeply right away. I can tell this is going to last a while though because the paper is thicker and very tightly folded in layers, and the âtireâ is solid from the outer rim all the way to the center. I got the medium one, which is 5.5â in diameter. When they say it is 9.5â long they are including the rope loop and loose fibers at the bottom, so donât worry that this will be too big, itâs the perfect size for medium-sized and even smaller birds.. If you have a large parrot I think their beaks would shred this size apart very quickly, but for medium and smaller it is great. I canât speak as to the larger sizes personally, but given the quality of the medium size I would imagine the bigger sizes would be good for larger birdsâ beaks. Excellent value for the price.

Hours of fun
This is one of my parrots favorite toys. He will swing with it, use it as a foot toy, hide treats in it and just have a blast pulling it apart. Great foraging toy! Highly recommend for anyone who has a parrot that loves to pull things apart, the bright colors make it a toy that draws their attention in and holds it for hours.

immediate hit for my ringneck
Great if you have a bird who loves destroying things. I think thereâs multiple color variations so it may not arrive looking like the photo, mine is tan, green and orange.

Good, but flawed design for intelligent birds
Good toy overall and good concept. My bird does love it, and has lots of fun ripping it apart. Unfortunately it took him about 15 minutes to learn that all he has to do is cut the rope in the middle, and one part of the ring, and the whole thing comes undone. UH-OH! While he gets no end of self-satisfaction from this, it does mean that this awesome toy is sent to the ‘toy-pieces for later use’ pile pretty quickly. That said, I’ve ordered it several times because the toy itself is great, just a slightly flawed design (or maybe my bird is just too smart for my own good).

This toy kept my parrot busy!
I bought this for my parrot because she likes to tear things apart. She loved it! It lasted with her for a few weeks, so I would recommend it to anyone who has a parrot that loves to shred things

Great toy!
What I expected from it. Great for a small bird who loves to destroy/chew on things. It was a good value!I recommend for birds cockatiel size to mini macaw size! For smaller birds, it would probably just be a cage decoration, and for bigger birds, it would be a 3 minute activity (large bird owners know what I mean).Lasting my cockatiels a good bit on their play stand, and they are enjoying their time chewing on it! My other small/medium birds have visited the tiel playstand and have liked it too!

Good toy, but not for my parrot.
I really like this toy but my conure doesnât. Itâs not super easy to tear up but she likes to rub on it and chew some. I ended up repurposing the tire part and she still does occasionally mess with it. I think any parrot who likes shredding and chewing more than mine will like this toy.

This toy is fantastically made I love the actual product but the price is simply WAY TOO high for the size of the item. I am very disappointed in this. I have very small hands and paying $16 for this when I could buy the large size of other planet pleasures which are the length of my forearm for the same price is ridiculous.

My bird loves the planet pleasure parrot toys and this one is no different. Once I hung up on her placed and she immediately went to it and was playing with it. They are well-made and a great value. I will continue to purchase and recommend Planet pleasure parrot toys as as they seem to have the best toys especially 4 smaller birds such as a green cheek conure and very good value because of their durability and the bird being interested and being stimulating for the Birds.

My Budgie loves this toy so much. Although it took him a while to get used to it now it is one of his favourite toys ever. He loves to play with the little string like things under the tire. I wish that it came with a hanger or clip so that I didnât have to tie it onto the cage. Overall I am very satisfied with this toy.

Got it when it was one sale. A great quality toy and there is a lot to it – it’s taking my two budgies a while to tear it apart, and they love it. Bigger than I thought, too!

These are pretty good, but they do not come with anything to hang them up.
