Nicer Than Expected
Though a bit pricey for its size, I am happy with this cage overall. It unfolds easily enough, even if it does take a bit of wrestling to get the ends into place. The locking mechanism seems firm enough, but I reinforced the corners with cable ties, just in case, as I do with any cage. The material seems good. I like the stainless steel bars and not having to worry about some coating chipping off. I wiped the bars down with alcohol as a precaution and the towel was not stained at all, so the bars were apparently clean. The door at one end is nice and big and will make it easy to get our cockatiels in and out. I bought this cage to be able to bring the birds outside for fresh air and sun–one bird at a time, as it’s really too small for two. I’d give the cage 5 stars, but for two factors: the price is high for a cage of this size and you only get one bowl for food or water. Birds need both.

Excellent travel carrier for a small bird
Excellent travel carrier for a smaller bird. This travel carrier is the perfect size for a cockatiel or smaller bird and is a safe and secure way to transport your bird. The cage door is large enough that it is easy to get a bird in if you need to place them on the perch inside the carrier cage. My birds are used to travel carriers, so with a bit of millet as a reward, my bird happily jumps in this carrier on his own. He eats his little treat and then hops onto the perch and waits to see where we are going this time. The bars are spaced a safe distance apart to prevent birds from getting hurt. The cage is large enough to comfortably hold one smaller bird without causing it to panic and feel trapped. The cage is easy to assemble, and I love that it folds flat for easy storage!

Not suitable for parrots.
Says for parrot; I have a blue front Amazon. Perch very small, not sturdy at all, he canât even stand on it. Assembly is easy, large door is adequate. This cage is ok for smaller birds; should not say for parrots.

Very functional and easy to clean travel cage – for smaller birds.
This stainless travel carrier is appropriate for parrotlets/parakeets to maybe a cockatiel-sized bird for short stays. It cold transport a Senegal or Conure to and from the vet, but I would not expect bigger birds to stay in it overnight! It comes with a small perch and a relatively deep food cup that is a little difficult to snap in and out of the holder – I think I’ll use a smaller food and water cups that simply hang on the wire. My parrotlet has a hard time reaching the bottom of the supplied cup – it’s OK for water, just hard to pull out to change without spilling it everywhere. I love that it folds down for storage, but the panels take a little wrestling to assemble. Once assembled though. it is sturdy and would be very hard to collapse without effort… no worries about coming apart and letting a bird escape or collapsing and smashing it. The door is huge – basically one whole short side that opens down like a drawbridge. Cleaning this will be easy and the plastic pan that slides out on bottom has pretty deep sides and is sturdy. It comes with a very nice, canvas bag with a cute bird and tropical print and nice, rope handles – the bag is excessively nice just to store this in! It is on the more expensive side for a carrier – probably because it’s stainless steel.

Good travel cage for Amazon birds or smaller (Budgies, Conures, Finches, Etc.).
Nice cage for small to medium birds. Fold-able, it comes with a nice cloth bag to store it in when not in use (you can use the bag to hold toys, food, or bowls when using the cage for travel). It comes with one bowl and one perch. It also has a snap-on cushion for the carrying handle, to protect you hand. It took a little strength to pull the pieces into place, but it wasn’t too hard. The door is very large and closes with a snap down lever. Light weight, it does have wire platform between the bird and the plastic bottom. I wish it had come with two bowls instead of the one.

Travel Cage Works for…well, Travel
As a temporary “travel cage” this works great. Our daughter has 15 rescued birds (conures, cockatiels, quaker parrots and Bourke parakeets) which she must take to and from the vet from time to time. It was easy to assemble and breaks down into a flat configuration for storage when not in use.

Great bird cage.
This cage is the perfect size. It is small but still roomy for baby birds or travel. It was easy to build and quite sturdy. Itâs lightweight and easy to carry. The cage is easy to clean and easy to fold up and store. This was a great price and would definitely recommend.

Works for what it is
This is advertised as steel; however, itâs a bit flimsy and my best guess would be that it was some type of thin galvanized steel, much like that of chicken wire. Itâs lightweight and portable, so itâll be easy enough to take my birds to the vet in the carrier but I wouldnât use this for anything more than quick transport when needed.
