Wires are thin, design is bad
I rarely give one star, but I just have to do it with this cage. This mainly gets one star because the wires are thin and brittle. Mine arrived with one of the legs on the bottom bent in the wrong direction. When I tried to bend it back, it snapped off instead of bending. Now, I have a three-legged cage.Next, the handle on top wasn’t easy to lift up; again, I had to bend wires to get it to where I could stand it up. The door is the worst part. It’s supposed to hang from a crossbar, but when assembled, the crossbar is on the bottom of the cage, not the top. The only way to get the door to the correct position is to either unbend and re-bend the hooks, which could break, or to use a couple of twist ties to hold it in place.Speaking of twist ties, I’m going to have to use a few to secure the door at the bottom since there is no latch or mechanism to secure it and to close the gaps at the corners. There are some gaps at the corner joints due to the thin wires bending during shipping.In the end, I’ll keep it around because I do get a lot of orphaned birds in my yard, but I’m going to have to twist tie it together and put something under the corner that has the broken off leg to hold it up when I use it. All around, this product is just really bad.
