Tips for Attracting Orioles
Know when to expect Orioles to arrive in your area and have multiple feeders hanging in your yard before they arrive. Orioles are drawn to the color orange, so place orange objects such as feeders, orange halves, or even orange ribbons around your yard to draw their attention. Orioles are shy birds, so at first, place feeders away from your house. As Orioles become more comfortable using your feeders, move them closer to your home for easy viewing. Orange halves and nectar will draw Orioles to your yard, but offering BirdBerry jelly will help keep them there!

birds love it
Although the feeder itself is not much to look at and will probably need to be replaced next season at the latest, the birds seem to love the “jelly” and drink the water in the insect trap on top. I got this because we had an oriole at the hummingbird feeder. He/she has moved on but the mocking birds and cat birds love it.

I can’t keep enough of it in feeder.

Birds love it!
We have Oriels migrate here during the Spring and Summer. We have been using this jelly, and they love it! I have to refill their feeder every day! Last year, we only had 2 mated pairs hang around. This year, we have at least 5 pairs that I’ve counted.

The finches love this!
I put this out to attract Oriol’s but the finches discovered it and love it!

My birds love it
It’s the only one I use, yes it more expensive then grape jelly for humans but I feel this one has less sugar and is better for them.

Squeeze bottle not a good idea.
Purchased this item to feed the Orioles and they really liked the jelly. Hereâs the but, the squeeze bottle was not the best idea for the product. Initially half the jelly comes out without a problem getting the rest out is another story. Whatever is left at the bottom half will not come out no matter what. Iâve squeezed, Iâve banged, turned the bottle upside down thinking the jelly would come down to the spout, tried to find something long enough to dig it out, set it in warm water & ended up with juice. The birds did like that but I already give them a nectar. So, all Iâm saying is if they put the jelly in a jar it would be much easier & a better idea to dispense their product. Until that happens Iâll be trying another jelly for the Orioles – sorry.

The orioles love it
Used this last year while camping in June. Orioles all day long and emptied the bottle after 4 days. This year put the feeder out at home and already gone through 1/2 bottle when I rarely had orioles.

Bee Heaven
Bees swarm the feeders keeping the Orioles away, The Orioles attempt to eat the jelly but give up due to the swarming bees. I’ve wiped the feeders with lemon and mint, supposedly bee deterrents, doesn’t phase them. This is the third attempt with the jelly over the months, but like the Orioles I’m giving up on the jelly.Don’t want to harm the bees, so I will fill the dishes with dried meal worms instead as the Orioles will eat them.

Product was bad or fermented. Not sealed so not fresh. Very runny and did not smell like it has in the past. Very disappointed since it was quite expensive.
