Good cheap fun for bird—one of the most useful toys I’ve found
This paper shred is so low tech, and such fun for the bird, and I can’t find it in my local stores—I looked—and we have lots of pet stores in my area. So thank goodness for Amazon sellers. We have a new bird in our pet system, a greencheek conure, and the kid needs to be kept busy. Paper shred? I’m on it!I have a cardboard box toy for my boyfriend’s conure. It’s three little boxes stacked on each other, separated by a wooden bead and held together by a braided cord that hangs from the top of the cage. The round holes on two of the sides each had a small amount of loose paper shred poking out, designed to entice the bird into pulling them. A commercial product, possibly Superbird.Well, as I knew he/she would (we aren’t yet sure about sex, and birdie is still only about seven months old), the colorful paper shred was pulled out from each box in a day or two. I knew, buying the toy, that I would have to quickly replace the filler, if it was as popular as I hoped it would be. And it was! What better mark of a total birdie toy success! So I did quickly replace it—with this loose stuff. It’s just great. Alix watches me eagerly as I fill it, then pulls some out, holds it in his/her mouth, trying the feel of it (doesn’t eat it), then strews it happily about, and I retrieve it later and stuff it back in (as long as it’s not soiled by food or birdie droppings), also adding more fresh stuff from the bag. I do need plenty of it for this conure, and this bag of shred is packed full with enough to last an ambitious smaller bird a few weeks, I think—I’ve had this bag of stuff for about a month and it’s only half consumed, but I’m buying another bag this month, to have plenty on hand. It’s a pretty cheap investment. The little goof loves, loves, loves pulling out the crumpled strands of colored paper. I’ve stuck it into some of his/her other toys too—same result.Go wild and get some for your bird! If you have something to poke it into that they can reach easily, it’s a terrific toy value.

Perfect for DIY bird foraging toys
This colorful crinkle paper is perfect for creating foraging toys for my conures! The bright colors catch their attention, and they love digging through it to find hidden treats. The paper is sturdy enough to hold up to their play but still soft and safe for them to chew on. Itâs a fun and easy way to keep them engaged and entertained. I highly recommend this for any bird owner looking to add some enrichment to their petâs life!

Wonderful item
As You can see in my picture I mixed it in with paper bedding for my Two Female Gerbils tank and it worked great for different substrates throughout the tank.

My birds love this
I have a little play area for my birds and they particularly love shredding toys. This extra paper saved me a lot of money and allowed me to create unique versions of spent toys, which they enjoy.

My Birds Just LOVE This Stuff
I bought this to refill a bird toy I bought a while ago. It is a 3″ hollow plastic ball with holes in it, that came stuffed with shredded paper, and my birds (or maybe just one of them) loved pulling the paper out. It’s a big bag of shredded paper, so the ball can be restuffed many times. The one drawback I found is that each slice of paper is actually several slices of different colored papers stuck together. So pulling out one piece, actually pulls out about 4-5 pieces that are attached to one another into one thicker piece. I tried separating them, but it just wasn’t worth the effort. It seems like a waste, though, to have the papers fused like that; hence, only 4 stars.

Colorful
Bought this to fix some of my parakeets toys. They love the shredded paper. So when their toy don’t have anymore paper. I just add more. I will buy more. Worth the money to keep my birds happy.

Bird Fun
I got my Amazon a larger straw nest. Then put this in and a lot of his small toys. Like a toy box on top of cage on the play gym. He loves going over and helping himself to whatever the toy of the day is. Occasionally he aims at a dog and gives one a throw. Trying to teach him to put them away when done.

My 2 budgies love this stuff! I love the fact that I can refill their toys and save some $$ on buying new ones! You know how fast they can destroy! LolYou get a lot of shredded fun in the bag. Most colors are stacked so you get even more when you fluff it up!I definitely recommend this for your feathered and furry friends! ð

Although I didnt want them at first, bought them by mistake actually, but then I used them for my parrot, he freaking loved them. I recommend buying one for your bird. Very fun toy apparently. And safe.
