So the plastic pieces holding it in place are almost destroyed my bird likes chewing on it. I makes me scared. The wood is ok, but maybe that should also be metal, also even if you keep it wood, could you include some cushion on the back so it can keep from making noises if they bang it. Lastly, what notes are on it, I want to play songs with my birds but don’t know what notes are there.

Wish They Played With It More
I think I like this one more than my birds :/They play with it, I have all budgies, but they havenât totally figured out itâs purpose yet is to just make fun sounds. They climb all over it and try to take it apart but havenât succeeded. However, they seem mostly uninterested in it. I like the sounds it makes when they do play with it tho. Just wish they liked it as much as I do. Maybe they will catch on and get into it more over more time. Iâve had it a couple months. Itâs colorful and looks good hanging, and since Iâm hoping they interact with it more, I leave it in there. Three stars since theyâre not into it – but it could just be my birds preference or take time.

ALWAYS MONITOR YOUR BIRD
I keep this only for supervised play due to the size of the space between the bars and the chain itself. My cockatiel is a master at getting his feet in places he shouldnât. I had expected this to be smaller (and less space between the bars for some reason), but it is pretty big. It would likely work a lot better for larger bird varieties, but itâs a bit too much for my tiel.If the bars were a bit closer together (to where I wouldnât have to worry about him breaking his foot), I would recommend it, but itâs a big safety issue for me, and I can get similar play using metal measuring cups turned over (to get sound variations) without worrying about safety.Honestly, skip this toy and just invest in a set of metal baking cups.

Great Perch
Birds mostly used it as a perch with no interest in playing it, but it was still cute! Pleasant noise without being too loud. Worked well for our cockatiel, green cheek conure, and goffin cockatoo. Sturdy and sits securely either horizontally or vertically on cages with both 1/4 and 1/2 bar spacing.

The wooden post pulled out of xylophone at top, had to jam back in and glue with wood glue, the metal chain would be easily chewed by a parrot, my rescue pigeons have not been drawn to this item and not used as yet.
