Excellent
I have a lot of birds in my yard and they love these in the bird feeder. Seeds can be messy and grow plants. I never see any wasted worms. The birds gobble them up. Great price for the package size. They last a long time and I have 2 large bird feeders in my yard.

Great deal, great quality, great mealworm size.
I love these for my chickens. The worms are large, fresh, and plentiful. I was buying 11 oz bags of mealworms for my chickens from my local stores, which was fine, but the 5 lb bag is only twice as much as I paid for the 11 oz. What a savings! My 6 chickens love the worms. I feed about 3 handfuls a day to them. They are backyard (about 1 acre), free-range chickens and they come running from wherever they are when I call the and rattle the plastic bag I keep the worms in. For convenience, I use a gallon zipper bag feed the chickens from. I just scatter the worms on the ground and the chickens eat them right up. I can’t believe how much I am saving by buying these worms in bulk. Plus I will not have to worry about running out so quickly. I am so glad Amazon carries such a large variety of pet food items. I will be reordering these when I get low on them.

Great for Bluebirds

Made in North America! Fresh and great value for the bug.
I have very spoiled pet chickens. The bugs definitely give the eggs more flavor and my chickens love it. I used to give only mealworms but ordered the fly larvae as a change. At first they were not as crazy about the flies but now they get both and they are happy. These are made in North America Not China. That was what I was looking for. They are cheaper than the China ones too. And fresh! Really crunchy, big and, I assume here, tasty. Started to auto-order the mealworms bcs I mix it 2 to 1 with the fly larvae.

Expectations – Bluebirds, not Mine Count Most
Liked what I received as during the COVID-19 period suppliers ran out of live mealworms, which are favored by Eastern Bluebirds I and others tend. Still with late-developing nesting season with insects still sheltered in the ground, they will eat dead mealworms and gain from their nutrition. So, thankfully, until live supplies return and our Stay Home, Stay Safe order passes here in Michigan I can do my best as a Bluebird landlord. Thanks, Amazon.

Birds and squirrels love these
I had been feeding these as well as live mealworms. Birds prefer the live ones, but they were unaffordable at the rate my wild birds were eating them. So Iâm sticking with the dried ones, which I understand can be soaked in water to make them a bit more appetizing. Doesnât matter – the grackles clean the feeder out really quickly, and the robins and squirrels eat what I spilled over in filling the feeder. So I guess they taste great! They arrive in good shape, too, almost all unbroken.
