Cute and functional duck/chicken fabric diaper
This fabric diaper works great on chickens. It has straps that wrap around the chicken and then you can button them according to the size of the chicken. There are several buttons you can choose to adjust the sizing, so this is quite versatile that way. I put it on a teenage chicken and was able to get it to fit with room to adjust it even smaller, but that wasn’t necessary. This diaper is made well, with fabric that should last for years. I felt the price was also a bargain. Our chicken looked adorable wearing the bow tie, too. I highly recommend this!

Cute and somewhat effective, but requires adjustment and a patient bird.
These diapers are cute and have potential. The material is easy to clean.I got the medium size for my two Orphington house chickens. They both learned to put up with the diaper in short order. Getting the fit adjusted right on their vent without being too tight takes some guesswork and bird wrangling, but I did manage to collect some nuggets by the end of the day. The width of the fabric seems to have trouble when the hens have a full crop off to their starboard side, so it doesn’t stay centered well. The little bow doesn’t slide along their back, so I tied the straps together ahead of their tail to keep it from sliding off to one side. It’s an ok item and a valid idea, but I think they should be sold in pairs for the price point. They take time to dry after use and cleaning, mine weren’t just dry nuggets at the end of the day. I don’t think I’ll be ordering another, but something like this might prove worth putting on them every day they get to come inside.

Not worth the price
It’s only 1 diaper. Based on pictures, I thought I was getting 7 diapers. For the price, it is not worth it. There are other diapers out there with better quality and cheaper prices. I will be returning this.

Doesn’t work to well
This is supposed to be made FOR ducks yet our duck is now about month and half old so he’s big enough to fit but it just slides down and off him. It doesn’t sit above his wings on his “shoulders” like it should even with me tightening it so the elastic had to actually stretch. He just had to flap his wings and down it went. Had to twist it a couple times so it wouldn’t slide down and then it stayed on. But something that’s made for ducks in mind yet it doesn’t stay how it’s made?

Adorable Diapers!
These are adorable diapers. The medium was a perfect fit for my bantam size duck (mallard). The only trouble I had was that my duck is a finicky little fellow who can’t stand to wear anything. Getting your pet to be okay with wearing something like this is a process, so make sure you are patient! The design is really cute, without being overly complex. I was surprised that the straps are secured by buttons, which can be a bit tough to fix in place when you are working with a wriggling creature, but it also makes it pretty safe (no feathers getting stuck in Velcro or anything like that). The fabric is lightweight and the straps don’t interfere with the birds wings. Cleaning should be pretty easy I think, because you can rinse off the inner part and throw the whole thing in the wash. Alternatively you could get a feminine pad or liner and stick it to the fabric for even easier clean up! I do think the stitching looks like it could come loose with some good tugging, so be aware of that. All in all, I want more of these in all sorts of cute designs!

Better than expected!
Fun, fun, fun! I’ve been waiting until my chickens were old enough to behave themselves in the house (not that they ever really will) but needed a diaper to prevent accidents. I love this diaper – the quality is excellent, the seams are tight, and it works extremely well with a large enough “butt area” to put a cut-down paper cup in to catch the poop so it doesn’t soil the diaper. It’s also cute as a button! Easy to put on and fits well.

Adorable and Works as Intended!!
I wanted to try these to put on my pet house chicken. It’s my first time trying anything like this. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but just know, the cost of $12.95 for one diaper is not really a value for money. Had there been two, then the price can be justified. The diaper is well made and works good. The small fit is best for a six to ten week old chicken. The design is adorable and ease of use is great.

Important Info To Note
I got the large size to fit my disabled Rhode Island Red rooster. He’s about 8 lbs., so standard size. I’ve bought other brand chicken diapers and always needed the large size. Well, when they say large, they mean it! lol I think this diaper is big enough to fit a gray goose! I think it’ll still fit, but I’m going to have to cinch the button straps a lot. One design flaw I see however, is they have sewn a decorative bow to where both straps are “connected”. I don’t like that, because it makes putting it on any bird, much less a cantankerous half blind rooster …challenging. I may cut it off, not decided yet. Also, this diaper is not liquid proof (if you know you know). You WILL need to add a liner of some sort to it. I like to use those disposable dog waste bags. I cut off about 2″ and secure the baggy in the pouch using bobby pins (those hair pins). It’s a little crude, but it works.
