They are great for seed and water
I have ordered many of these feeders! They are great for seed and water. East to fill, clean, and keep your feathered friends happy! UPDATE!! When I purchased these feeders in 2015 — they were sold by PETCO. I bought 10 of them at $3.59 each! My review was not for the current seller — My feeders are sturdy, the white plastic bottoms are a speckled plastic. The rings for attaching to the cage fit several different bar widths too and they are sturdy.

Mounting hooks too short
The mounting hooks are too short to reach over the horizontal bar of the cage. The curvature of the bowl keep the hooks from being able to hook. I have been cutting excess plastic in an attempt to make this work.I like the fact that this feeder has a built in perch.

large capacity small bird feeder
I have bought several of these over the years, not because I needed to replace any, but to add to more cages. They have worn well for me using them with soft bill small birds. You can easily see how much is still there, the perch and cup combo helps to keep seed/pellets clean andI have even used them for water, which worked well for me. I currently own and use 5 of them, the last bought recently. Recommended *only* for soft bills.

Apparently seller is using a twenty year old picture for an item that is currently made by another manufacturer and is of poor quality compared to what was bought in past
Item delivered was not item pictured for sale on-line. The feeder upper holder support ring has a flimsy hook – not the solid square cage bar holder, The feeder food tray has low profile – while the pictured on line food tray has high sides. The food tube is smooth round plastic–while the online picture shows sturdier multiple angled sides. I have the online pictured feeder which was bought 20 years ago. Apparently seller is using a twenty year old picture for an item that is currently made by another manufacturer and is of poor quality compared to what was bought in past. Will return item.
