Diverse foraging mat, ideal for shredders!
I have a solitary, semi-feral female lovebird that I took in to “foster” four years ago. She detests me despite my best efforts, and tends to hang out in her enclosure when not flying for exercise. Because of this, I’m always looking for enrichment toys for her rapidly shredding little beak. I unboxed this, and was immediately struck by the quality of the materials, which were markedly nicer than expected. It has an excellent variety of both colorful and natural stimulating features, including some spray millet, a large (for a LB) whole nut, lots of woven palm/raffia (over an inch thick), safe wooden beads, and novel to me plastic round fasteners (time will tell if those are preferential or equal to steel carabiners. They’re definitely better than the hardened palm rounds in newer All Living Things toys, which the bird chews through in less than 10 minutes). I bought this and another similar design, and thought they were an excellent value for what I paid, considering they’re larger, more diverse, and more robust than most in store toys Mina the bird has decimated. She did immediately go for a corner and detach the mat from it’s hook, but that’s something she does, and it was very easy to reattach elsewhere.

An absolute favorite of my two budgies for climbing and playing- simply tie on new toys as needed
My budgies love these mats. I currently have two different types to provide a variety of play and shredding activities so they donât get bored. Excellent designs including hooks to attach to cage. I attach new mahogany pods and sola balls, and tie on raffia tassels and such, as other toys are shredded. My two birds have so much fun climbing, exploring textures, shredding and playing with toys. Great value for all the activities they provide. The mats themselves are safe. I only purchase the mats that I feel have the safest and most natural toys. Itâs easy to remove and replace a toy if you feel it is questionable because birds will chew anything and everything!

Great toy for my budgies!!
My budgies love this!! They climb on it while chewing everything in their path! Although the millet was the first to go, there are lots of items with different textures that provide them with fun and mental stimulation! Will definitely be trying the other ones offered after they have gone through this one. It is very well made so Im assuming that may take some time!

My parakeets love this toy. I do want to make a suggestion to those with young parakeets. One of my little guys got his head stuck in one of the rings that attach to the cage. I heard his scream so it turned out ok. I took the rings off and attached the toy with string. Otherwise this has been hours of fun for my birds.

Theyâve been craving destruction
Theyâve never played with any of the toys I go them before. It just arrived today and heâs already all over it. Lots of stuff to keep him busy and a nice price. Weâll see how long it lasts him(I couldnât get a good picture of my girls checking it out but thatâs more then the other stuff)

My Turquoisine Parakeets Love This!
I was skeptical at first. Birds have individual personalities like people and many toys have been ignored for one reason or another. My experience with parakeets has proven them all to be curious little explorers. Iâm happy to report my little Turquoisines have been systematically destroying this walnut themed mat over the past several days. 75% of the mat remains intact, so I believe it will last another two weeks before I replace it. But I can honestly say they began picking at it from the first day. It helps keep them busy and stimulates their little minds. As an aside, they also love sea grass mats that serve as hammocks placed at the top of their cage. These serve their purpose until the parakeets tear them apart. 5 stars for this product!

A birdieâs best beak friend
I intended to hang this then include a photo once my two conures overcame their expected wariness of something new in their cage and began exploring this wonderfully colorful activity toy. What a value for the money this is! Sweet Pea and Bojonowski (Bojo) did not take long to get over their shyness. In a matter of a few hours, the duo of destruction upped their entertainment enjoyment to the max! This colorful, durable, medium-sized wall mat toy hasâ¦wellâ¦had multiple rings, twine balls, little toys, and interesting items tied to it. I got busy and forgot to take a photo. Within four days, I had to retrieve several items from the bottom of the cage to reattach them to the toy. Bojo merrily shredded, picked, and pecked. Sweet Pea hung upside down by one leg, climbed back and forth, and chose to carefully focus on one add-on toy at a time, attacking it with precise dedication! It was more fun to sit at the table and quietly watch each of the flock members in their separate condo enjoy this toy (I had a toy from this seller for each). Sometimes it means more to experience the moment than capture it. Next review I will.

Love how secure the items are on this mat. It has taken a very long time for my budgies to take apart. Four months later, I take it out every so often and bring it back a few weeks later. They get excited when they see it.
