Great Shredder Toy Platform â My Parrot Is Obsessed
This KATUMO shredding toy platform is very similar to another one I bought recently â and itâs another big win for my Congo African Grey. He loves having a flat surface to perch on, and the thick corrugated cardboard gives him something safe and satisfying to chew. It keeps his beak busy and his feet relaxed â a great combo!The size is perfect for medium-sized birds. I went with the Large, and it fits well in his cage without taking up too much space. The hardware is sturdy and makes installation easy.Hereâs what stands out:* Dual purpose: it’s a perch and shredding toy in one.* Great for foraging: I sometimes put small treats on it and let him go to town.* Encourages movement and play, which keeps him mentally stimulated.* Holds up surprisingly well for a cardboard toy â not indestructible, but not flimsy.Highly recommend this for Greys, Conures, Cockatiels, and other small-to-medium birds. I wish this item had a “subscribe and save option!” My parakeets tear this toy/perch to shreds! They love this toy/perch so much! They went through one in about a week and I had to order another. Excellent perch. I was skeptical with the low amount of reviews, but I am completely satisfied with this toy/perch. 🙂 This image is the damage they did in 1 week!!!

Nice platform
We bought this foraging platform so our parakeets would be able to use it as a resting spot, a foraging item and a gathering place. They do use it as a place to land but have not yet discovered the potential of it as they’re new to their cage environment, but I like the idea of them being able to peck at this and eventually use it as a play spot. It’s solid and well made and I’m happy with it.

Good product, but watch out for the big, sharp screws!
This toy attaches to the bird case with two sharp screws that really seem like overkill to me. My parakeet has enjoyed tearing this thing apart. But she worked on one part until she exposed a screw with a very sharp point and deep grooves that gave me a superficial cut. I removed the screw, and left the rest of the toy hanging, and she’s been working on that, so it’s not a problem. But I will have to make sure to remove the toy if she manages to expose the other screw.

Too small but love the original
I thought this was the same one I ordered before but I was sent a minuture version of it. My bird loves the original one, but make sure you check size before ordering.
