Soft, Natural ðAppleð Smell: very good for picky parrots
The cockatoos and African grays just loved it!They really enjoyed the softer texture. It has the texture of a firm, moist, all-fruit bar so they didnât throw it in their water bowl to soften it, as they do with other brands. It had a very pleasant, sweet, fresh, ð apple smell, (similar to an apple pie) which my birds appreciated more than the standard strong citrus smell, that is often found in other brands.I found the size of the pellets very appealing for a Triton Cockatoo, African Gray Congo, or an African Gray Timneh. I would definitely recommend this for larger parrots, medium size parrots, older parrots, and picky parrots.

Good price
My Blue and Gold Macaw initially did not eat these. I tried mixing it in with other foods but my guess is that because of the brown color, it did not look too appealing to her. So what I did was leave only that in her bowl and she eventually had no choice but to eat it when she got hungry. Surprisingly after a few days, she started eating it on her own. And there is very little wasted at the bottom of the cage. She eats majority of it. I guess it took some getting used to.

Picky âChickenâ (cockatoo) LOVES this food
Our sulfur crested cockatoo, Stanley âchickenâ (self appointed) absolutely loves this food. We had no idea how this was going to roll out for us but heâs done really well. It came soft, moist and fresh smelling. The price point is crazy, but seeing that heâs not making a mess and enjoying every bite Iâm not only in shock but he seems happier like peppy energy.

Waste of money and can not be returned
Been feeding the big birds Exact rainbow chunky but it is always out of stock. Tried this fruity soft pellet and the birds will not eat it even after 10 days of trying. Smells horrible, small size. Beware, Non-refundable, waste of money.

Good food
A friend of mine who has raised and rescued birds for 30 years recommended this food. My Goffin Cockatoo is super super picky, and may nibble at a nugget here and there, but still mainly eats the seed mix he’s used too. This is not the brand’s fault, I just have a very picky bird! The nuggets are soft too, so you can break them up, or even grind them up.Edit: My bird decided to start eating these about 2 weeks ago! I break them in half first, and then they are the perfect size for his little feet to grab onto!

Finally!
Ever since my African Greyâs staple was seemingly discontinued from all sources (Caitec OvenBaked Bites for large birds), Iâve tried many different foods, none of which she ate. This one is a winner! She eats it well, and sheâs healthy.
