Spacious, sturdy, and a great value! But not for all birds
This cage is amazing for the price! It is very spacious and our bird loves it! We moved a lorikeet from a 20×20 cage that she was pretty fixated on to this one and after about 4 hours she forgot about old one.I was worried based on the reviews that this cage was too flimsy but itâs been 3 weeks now and she hasnât broken anything or bent any bars. This cage is NOT suitable whatsoever for African grey/macaws/cockatoos/similar or larger birds. Its roomy and the doors are large enough but if the birds beak is big enough to get around 2 bars at one time and still bite they would definitely be able to break the welds.I think this cage would be best for multiple medium sized birds (cockatiels, small/medium conures, maybe a ringneck parrot) This would be overkill for parakeets or anything smaller.The instructions are definitely not that helpful but itâs pretty easy to assemble. If you sort the screws, you end up with long Allen head screws, short Allen head screws, philips head screws with nuts and washers, and arrow shaped metal latches. The long Allen head screws are for attaching the sides, top, and base rails. Short ones are for the arrow shaped door latches, and the screw/washer/nuts are for the seed skirts. You just loosely screw in all the long screws (as in the picture) then go around and tighten it all down after everything lines up.The only shiping damage mine had was the door popped out the box and got bent back. I just used a pliers and was able to bend it back and no visible damage was left.We just purchased a smaller 20x24x53 rectangular name brand cage from the local pet store couple weeks prior for our other bird and this cage Is only slightly flimsier on the bars but the finish and sturdiness is on par and it was the same price even though its much bigger. I would definitely recommend the cage,

Very nice cage at a reasonable price
First, I’m going to join in with almost everyone else and state that the instructions for assembly are absolutely worthless! The instructions show that the parts are labeled A, B, C, D, etc., but the parts themselves are NOT lettered. It is possible to connect the wrong pieces. I did it twice! In spite of that, I was able to put this cage together all by myself. Yes, it would have been easier with 2 people, but it is possible to assemble it alone. You’ll probably have some screws and arrows (door closers) left over, but I’d rather have too many than not enough. On the other hand, the hardware did not include enough hex nuts, so I had to make a trip to Home Depot for some extras. If you need to do that, be aware that the parts are metric. I have two cockatiels and they are very happy in this cage and I am glad that I bought it. It has plenty of room for both of them to stretch out and lots of room for toys, ladders, etc. I recommend this cage.

Assembly Tips!
We bought two of these for our macaws. ð¦ They’re good size cages and the birds like them as well as they like anything that isn’t roaming free. ð¨ Having built two cages three times we are now experts, just ask us, so I thought I might try to save someone else some time. ð©âð The included instructions are laughable – no explanation included just some really unhelpful line drawings. However, my spouse and I are less afraid of poor instructions than free-roaming birds when we aren’t home – so we dove in. ðª There are two random bars in the package that aren’t clearly marked in the instructions (they’re J but that’s not helpful) so we decided we would figure them out at the end. ð This was a bad choice. ð Please learn from us. These bars are the sliding rails for the mess trays on the bottom and need to be fitted toward the beginning – they’re important and it matters for how you put the two back pieces on. Also, make sure these bad boys fit through your doorways to the place they will end up! You don’t want to have to take them apart to move them and put them back together… trust me.I’d recommend:ð ï¸ a drill with an Allen wrench and Phillips head attachment makes this soooooo much easier, not necessary but niceðââï¸ Put it together upside down until the end, less crawling on the floor, and most of the smaller pieces are on the bottomð ï¸ Put on wheels and use these to help figure out which panels go which way – the wheels should be evenly spaced, 4 in the front, one in the back corner.ð PUT IN SLIDING RAILS – do this as you put together the side panels, this affects the alignment of the panels and is important to hold the trays at the end ð¤¦ââï¸ð ï¸ put together the skirtingð ï¸ flip the whole thing over and screw on the topð ï¸ add all the little pieces (latches and such)ð ï¸ you’ll have a bunch of little pieces left over – it’s ok they’re extra – although we did find ourselves two medium bolts short in both boxes, with lots of the larger and smaller ones leftover, so maybe that’s us ð¤·ââï¸ð ï¸ add your own perches and toys and stuff – the dowel rods that come with the cages are basically twigs for a larger bird and wouldn’t last 3 seconds with our ladiesð admire the beauty, bask in your accomplishment, and add birds

Large size, Decent quality, but no locking bar on bowls
I wanted a larger cage for my parrot, but didn’t want to spend thousands. This cage is decent and the quality is about right for the price. Two of the panels were slightly bowed when unboxed, but they straightened out when assembled. I’m giving a lower rating because of the instructions. It was a 1 page 8.5×11 sheet of paper, one sided. The pictures were so small you couldn’t see any detail, even with a magnifying glass. None of the panels were marked and the pictures were wrong. (showed every panel had feet and they didn’t) The what do you have photos were also wrong. Panel F wasn’t listed and Panel E was actually F. There was also nothing listed to tell you how many screws or where to use them. I still don’t know if I put the washers on the correct screws. I will say as a plus that there were more than enough screws. My biggest issue is that there is no locking bar above the bowls to stop them from being removed by the bird. If I knew that up front, I would not have bought this cage. Anyone with a parrot knows they are mischievous and now I’m going to have to figure out some way to rig this. Also, the bowls are very small.
