Awesome Treat Mix
My chickens absolutely love this feed. It is an awesome way for them to get some extra protein and nutrients. They are always so excited when I throw it into the run, and they love to pick through it and find their favorite treat. The bag is definitely big enough to last a while, I have 3 chickens, and it has lasted me months, mostly because it is important to not always be giving them treats. Overall, I am very satisfied with this chicken feed.

However, it’s definitely something you have to budget for because it is **very expensive**.The primary reason I bought this was for the promise of boosting Omega-3 content in my eggs, and it really works. After adding this to their diet, my egg yolks have a noticeable, rich orange color, and my family has commented on how great the eggs taste. The blend of flaxseed and chia seems to be doing its job perfectly.Beyond the eggs, Iâve noticed a positive difference in my birds’ overall health. The chickens love this treat. They don’t seem to care much about the peas, at least not until everything else has been eaten. I guess peas are their least favorite ingredient. They seem to absolutely love this treat though. It appears to be excellent quality ingredients, brightly colored, and nutritious. My hens come running for this treat and I feel good providing them with something to is good for their health, too.
