Great So Far (Will Try to Update)
I’ll try to remember to update once a month or so has passed for future thoughts, but for now my first impressions:This food seems excellent. It smells good and has a decent mix of the listed ingredients! I will be feeding this alongside Harrison’s Lifetime Fine or Superfine pellets and TOPs, two pellets I highly recommend for parrots (and Harrison’s for pigeons and doves too). So far, the buddies seem to appreciate this new food. They’re still acclimating and switching over, hence the future update (if I remember), but right off the bat they seem keen to try it which is a plus in my book. From looking at it, it seems to be good quality which is excellent, and for little birds like buddies a single bag should last a while if also feeding pellets. It is extremely important to transition parrots diets slowly, and some can take more than a month to even try a new food item, so I’m happy the bag has instructions on it to highlight this. Quite happy with this food so far, very impressed!

My senior dove loves this and hangs out near his food bowl since buying this
I am so happy to have found this food. I have a senior dove that I am picky about his diet. I couldn’t get my regular bird food and had to find a new one. I bought this and the ingredients and listing looked very good. In opening the product I was happy to find it looked and smelled fresh. My dove immediately took to it and actually hangs out near his food bowl more than anywhere else since I bought this food. That makes me happy in that it probably means he likes it and wants easy access. I will certainly buy this again and am happy with my purchase.

Great ingredients
We adopted a budgie and she absolutely loves this food. The ingredients are great. No artificial dyes which is a huge plus. She picks around the oats but toward the end of the day I notice she at least crunches them up. Definitely recommend.

Too expensive, but good food
Really good food, but terribly expensive. I have multiple budgies & this (very small) 2lb bag doesn’t go far. If really Avian Vet couple that makes & distributes (as stated). Feel they should care more about getting healthy food to petbirdsinstead of $$

Bird diarrhea
We didn’t completely change their food over to this organic food. We added a tablespoon to 4 or 5 tablespoons of regular seed mix. The cage was a complete mess. . . Used it for the outdoor birds. Start your bird on this when they are young and stick with it. Like any other pet switching food . You can expect changes in there potty

Quality Food…But
My parakeets love the food. They seem to throw the oats out of the bowl, but maybe in time will start eating them.I do love that the product is 80%organic. The food is a bit pricey, but the birds health is my priority here.EDIT….Well, I wanted to update on the food. Now, my parakeets will not eat this food. Fussy little feather pickers!So, on to the next one!
