We liked it more than our parrot did
It’s a great capelet. It’s well-made, covers her shoulders well. The velcro was easy to connect (she did it alone), too. We loved the fact that it had bells, too, especially considering our parrot loves bells. But when she tried to get our Senegal parrot to perch, he wasn’t having it. He was not impressed. He’s not big on change, even though he rides on her shoulders all the time. So, we’ll have to keep trying. If your feathered friend is less suspicious, this is definitely a good protective bonding item, though.

Birds can’t stand on it
Ordered this when we got new parrots. They’re loved the toys that came with it but they weren’t able to even stand on our shoulders with it on. It is way to slippery and they just slide off immediately. The material is cute but I wouldn’t buy it knowing what I know now.

I got tired of my Quaker putting holes in my shirts so bad that I had to throw them away. So I decided to give this a try. Iâm very happy with it! No more holes and poop all over my clothes. Easy to clean with a damp cloth at night and ready for the next day.
