Not easy to add food
I had something similar years ago and it was much easier to disassemble every day to add the fruit or veggies. I was not impressed with these for that reason.

Good foraging treat
My IRN gets so excited when he sees these filled with his fruits and veggies! It’s such a great foraging treat for all kinds of birds. The size is perfect for him and he can get to all of his treats easily. The stainless steel looks like great quality and is very sturdy. It super easy to wash clean too. Very functional and makes my bird so happy!

Not ideal
Not stainless steel and a pretty blunt end which makes it hard to skewer food.

These Bring a Renewed Inspiration in Feeding My 32 Year Old Parrot Fresh Fruit and Veggies
My parrot is 32 years old, so I have seen just about every bird product. I have other Food Holders almost like these. Operative word is âalmost.âThese Food Holders are longer than most, so these hold a lot more fruits and veggies. They give my parrot more joy and more options in her eating. These are made from food grade stainless steel, while older products like this may not be. In fact, I know that the ones I had previously were not made from food grade stainless steel. The best aspect of this product is that you get 3 of these food holders. In the past I have purchased one shorter one for a higher price than these three. That makes this an extraordinary value. I can make 3 sets at the same time, then keep 2 fresh in the frog until the next day, saving me time and energy. These are easy to prep, my parrot loves them, and once she is finished with them, they are so easy to clean. Between the low cost and the time I save in prepping them, this is an extraordinary value. Plus, these bring a renewed inspiration for me to feed my parrot fresh fruits and veggies, and that is by the the most important aspect these fruit holders bring to the table.

Not good for wet foods
The jump rings are tricky to get on and they rust.

A Game-Changer for My Feathered Friends!
I didnât think a bird food holder could be this impressive â but this 3-piece stainless steel parrot feeding set totally changed how I feed my birds! The quality is excellent â durable, rust-resistant stainless steel that feels sturdy and safe. No sharp edges or flimsy parts, which is super important for my curious little parrot. The twisted suspension design is clever and keeps fruits and veggies securely in place while giving my bird a fun and interactive way to snack. The fruit clip and veggie stick hold everything from apple slices to leafy greens without slipping, and I love that it doubles as a feeding toy â it keeps my parrot entertained and mentally stimulated while he eats! The anti-knock and detachable design makes cleaning a breeze and prevents messy spills all over the cage. Plus, the mounting hardware is simple to use and holds tightly â no wobbling or falling off.Honestly, this is one of the most functional and fun bird accessories Iâve purchased. If youâve got parrots or other birds that love fresh food and enrichment, this is a must-have. Highly recommend!

It works, long, but connect to cage requires a bit of work due to small ring from bar to connector
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I liked that this product seemed to have a longer stick to put fruits, vegetables and toys on than some other brands. It works great for that, however, it does have one very annoying feature. If you look at the pictures, the circle part at the end holds the fruit or veggies or other fun things on the stick so the other end is what you push through the food to put it on the bar and connect to the cage. You get a good size caribiner type thing to hang it from the cage top, but before you use it you have to connect a tiny, thin, circle metal piece like the ones on key chains that you feed a key through. There is a tiny hole at the end of the metal bar. You feed the circle ring through this hole, then you attach the caribiner (screw connect type not the pinch to open type) and attach it to the cage. To clean it and add more food to use again you have to remove the caribiner, and then feed the metal circle out of the hole on the bar. I wish there was a way to just connect to the hole, but the hole is very small and needs the little circle. Hope my explaination is clear. It works, just not sure it is going to last long with that little skinny circle connector. To not lose it, I take it off and remove any left over stuff on the bar, then attach it again before hand washing. A lot of taking off and putting it back on. You do get three bars, three circles for attaching, and three connectors. I was disappointed to discover all the extra effort and having to be gentle. That being said, it does work, and parrots destroy things all the time, just hoped this would be one thing I could use for a good while. Build quality:Everything is sturdy except that little thin tiny circle which has to be that way due to how small the hole isFunctionality:It is longer than most others found on the market so that is nice to be able to stack more things onto it. My parrot loves getting treats this way. I feed mostly fresh veggies vs fruit and it works great.Ease of cleaning:After you get off anyting remaining it is easy to quickly hand wash and lay out to dry. You get three so you can always have one ready while another is drying. Or put more than one in the cage.Value for money:You get three bars, three connecting rings, and three screw to close caribiners that are often included with bird toys and enrichment items.
