Great cage
This is an awesome cage! Easy to put together and very sturdy. I originally bought an A&E Co. cage and it was awful – flimsy, crazy difficult to assemble. Needless to say I returned it. P.H. makes quality cages. The seed catcher does a good job of catching debris and I love that the food dishes are positioned at the very bottom of the cage so no mess on the floor at all. Our Parrotlet now has plenty of room for toys and to move around as much as he wants.

Good cage. Light gauge wire
My 13-year old put it together before I got home, so I assume that process wasn’t too difficult! Good cage. Light gauge wire, but plenty adequate for cockatiels. The food dishes are set low so the skirt catches most of the seed spray, and that is a plus.

Not Worth it…In Any Cents!
I spent a small fortune on this new enclosure for my cockatiel. I got it cuz, I wanted to bring him outside with me while the sprinkler is on…he loves to stretch his wings while bathing… And the cage provides plenty of room for full wing span. Also, I wanted him to have a playpen on the top…I mean, I had major plans for what was supposed to be a fabulous new “safe” home for my bird. But, its NOT!! Don’t waste your money!! Having extensive knowledge of bird cages… I waited a little before, I made my review…to see what would last and what would Not! Well, the little tabs that attach the cage to the base of the cage…ONLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!!! BROKE each and every single little plastic tab…gone! So, basically his walls and roof are not secure. Makes me very sad…it took me several years to save up enough money to get this for my 15 year old cockatiel. And now, I can’t afford a safer enclosure for him and to make matters worse…I threw his enclosure of 8 years away. :-[..I’m giving the cage one star however for the sides…it does keep seed from flying all over…just like it claims!BTW its taken my bird some time to get used to his new roomier home, but, its no good if its not safe!I’m open to any ideas as to how to replace the plastic tabs and secure the cage to the base.

Not perfect but I like it.
It is a little flimsy but it’s not like a bird is Hercules. I did have to get some clips to secure the doors that’s something that would have been handy to know about ahead of time. The seed guard works well and a seed guard was one of my “must haves” in a cage. The pull out tray and grate make cleaning easy. It’s a good size for my green cheek conure. For the price I think it’s an excellent cage.

Not the best constructed cage for a cockatiel
I bought this product as a replacement cage for my cockatiel. His previous cage lasted for many years and the same style was not available anywhere. The vertical wires of the door side and back of this cage are so thin and the distance between the horizontal wire is too great so he can not get a grip and he slides down and has to start over. He has fallen many times and sits at the bottom of the cage not happy. I have purchased white rubber covered wire and wove it in between so as he climbs he can use his beak to grip and raise himself up so his toes can reach the horizontal wire. My bird is used to moving around inside and outside his cage in an only pet safe environment. I want him to continue to enjoy his life and this was the only solution I could think of.

This is the second Prevue Clean Life cage I’ve purchased
This is the smaller of the two I purchased for my parrotlets – my pacific needs more space than the green rump so this was a perfect size for him. The cage performs as stated, but I’m a neat freak and added thin acrylic sheets to the three sides going about half-way up to keep the mess in because when they flit about the dust and feathers stir up above the sides. The regular falling debris is caught as manufacturer states and again, I only add the sheets b/c parrotlets are extremely active and beat their wings – it makes for a little less clean up. The main reason I purchased this the first time was I insist on having a large door to get in for proper, easy cleaning and I am convinced the large door is less stressful on the birds so that you aren’t needing to chase them around. Highly recommend this cage….

While there are other bird cages at a lower price point, I very munch like the slide-out bottom of the cage — very easy to clean.

Very flimsy – wires bend easily and door doesn’t close tightly because of the bending. Base and tray are very light plastic that can be easily damaged. Flared base is a nice idea to keep seeds in, but there are so many gaps all around the base and tray that lots of seeds still get out. Very over-priced for the quality!

Very cheap product, did not last one year, plastic broken and paint peeling off. Seed guard useless as it’s full of holes.

Very cheap and flimsy cage. Returned the cage. It should be max $75 cad. Please respect your pets and give them the biggest cages possible. This cage is small for even one budgie. I regret in the past as I have housed bigger birds like conures in small cages as I thought to myself they are always outside anyways and they only go in to eat and sleep. But, I was so wrong. My conure had anxiety problems which I realized after he had passed it was mostly due to a small cage. Even though he spent most of the time outside his cage, he still needed a big cage to feel not cramped when he was in, whether he was eating or resting. I am so sorry for this big mistake I made. This cage is for max one budgie. Even then it’s small. Always go bigger. Have respect for their needs. They depend on you.
