Excellent, made-in-USA product from customer focused company!
Small Pet Select is a great company and they have a superior USA made product! I am on a subscription for the sustainable chicken scratch because my chickens love their morning scratch. They make lots of noise until the scratch is laid down, then after a while start cooing and purring with delight.Amazing customer service: The company responded quickly and addressed a recent incident wherein the box was disrupted through the mail system and lost half its contents. They replaced it and sent some kind postcards expressing their thanks for my understanding.I will forever use this company for my chickens! Thank you Small Pet Select!

Chickens love this
With questionable ingredients in so much of everything weâve been trying to feed the better quality/ingredients not only to us but all our âpetsâ. When the chickens (smartly) stopped eating the corn in other scratches we looked for others without soy and corn (and nonGMO). This product fit the bill. In comparison itâs a bit pricier to me but definitely better quality. Instead of just getting the few pieces they want from the other scratch the chickens stay out and clean up every bite from this package.

Great product, poor packaging
Exactly what the title states, great quality product but itâs packaged poorly for shipping. Every order I receive has issues. The seed is all over my porch because the box isnât capable of making it through the abuses of shipping. I understand the need to use less plastics in the world and there are alternatives to actual plastic, but something needs to be done to contain the seed from spilling through the box-folds. Tape is not working. Using a biodegradable bag inside of the box would be a good option.

Chickens seem to like this and thereâs no dust, really clean scratch. Sure you get a few stems but they donât seem to mind.

good product – however my box was delivered to front step in rain – box got wet had to trash – no packaging – so not protected – fell apart when I tried to pick up

The best scratch
I (And my chickens) love this scratch. It took years to find scratch that wasnât loaded with fillers and cracked corn. Itâs a little more expensive but itâs worth it.
