best bang for your buck
This is my favorite sunflower seed product for the birds and even the squirrels enjoy it. The bag is large enough to last for a while, which is a bonus since I have a lot of wildlife to feed. These sunflower seeds have even attracted a turkey hen with her brood of 8 chicks so there’s always a lot of animal activity once I put it out. I used to buy the sunflower seeds in the shell, which the animals seem to prefer, but the empty shells began to make the area look sloppy and would stick to my shoes. The shelled variety is so much cleaner and still does a great job at feeding the critters. I’m a repeat buyer and that says it all!

Birds love this seed. I’ve purchased this seed four times, and I’ve been impressed by the quality. It’s mostly whole seed (hearts) with low percentage of broken seed (chips), and it leaves no mess behind. The one time I had an issue with an order, I contacted the company and they fixed it promptly. I’ve also been pleased with other bird food I’ve purchased from this company. I will continue to purchase this seed and other bird food from this company.

Extremely impressive, especially since this is for wildlife. I buy extra sunflower seeds shelled and peanuts shelled for my outdoor wild birds. I get Morning Song “clean and free” seed mix so there’s little to no mess as the mix contains no shells at all. The mix does include some peanuts and sunflower seeds but I like to add a lot more because of the obvious enjoyment and protein. I now get about 10 to 15 birds at a time and they always go for the sunflower seeds first. I have bought other brands that turned out to be mostly chips and not clean in the bag like these. Look at my photo â look at the quality! Look at the amount of whole sunflower seeds, you can’t even really see chips. I actually looked at the label to see if it said nothing or actually said for wildlife because they are such high-quality, and it said “wildlife”. I’m so impressed with the quality and size of this bag that I ordered the shelled peanuts from this company yesterday which is coming today. I have total faith that those will be the best of the best also, and not messy in a bag with a lot of skins like others. Impressive company! I will definitely continue to buy!

Good quality sunflower seeds & chips
The seeds and chips seemed and smelled fresh, with no fine residue. And the birds, squirrels and chipmunks love them. They attract a nearby flock of mourning doves who really go to town. Ocassionally cardinals and bluejays swoop in for a morsel, but the doves chase them away. The reason I gave it 4 stars was the bag was 24 lbs., not 25 lbs. That annoyed me. Also it came in a clear bag, no markings, not like the photo. But overall it’s a quality product and the price was the lowest per pound that I found, even for 24 lbs.
